I think my gas meter is faulty. How do I get someone out to examine it ASAP?

It would help if you gave some more details. What makes you think it is faulty? Is is a smart meter not sending readings? Do you think your consumption is registering too high? The correct route will depend upon the exact circumstances.

Current Eon Next and EDF customer, ex Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

Just to elaborate, you can ask Eon next to send an engineer to check your meter. But if they find nothing wrong with it, it will cost you quite a bit for the wasted time and effort. So better to let the forum's volunteer experts, particularly @theunknowntech try to help you before taking the drastic step.

What kind of fault do you think your gas meter has? I've got a bunch of possible solutions and options I can recommend, but I could do with more details to help me figure out which ones to try.
