Hi I got both gas and electric smart meters fitted last year.
the gas one has stopped sending data. And says I always use 0
I have tried rebooting the ihd next to the gas meter but no luck?
I tried the smart meter check citizen’s advice and it’s ok
is there any thing else I can try ? Thanks
where are the settings to change 30 minutes or daily online or on ihd?
thanks again
If the meter is visible on the network, E.On have no reason to not get readings unless the gas meter has failed somehow which seems to be the case. Good news, you are on 'free vend'. Bad news is they will only be able to estimate your usage.
You will need to contact Customer Services and report a faulty meter.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

If you can get a reading off the meter itself and submit that online manually, that will stop you getting estimates. Monthly is fine. In the meantime, you'll need to keep chipping away at 'em to try and get it sorted.
I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your meters!
Have you tried to contact customer services about this one? - it will be best for an Energy Specialist to take a look at this for you.

@Ando No problem! If you go to this thread: contact usyou'll find a big list of options for you 😊. We're still experiencing delays so if its taking us longer to get to you just know were not ignoring you!
This happened to my gas meter in September, I only noticed when my monthly statement didn't contain any gas readings. I was told it was a IHD issue long story short, my last manual meter reading was start of November, since then the meters screen doesn't work so I can't take a reading manually either. An engineer will be out end of January, around 3 months since I reported the outage. To be fair though they have been very helpful every time I've called or messaged over WhatsApp.
