I've been meaning to talk about those, but I guess you already know they have an insanely good range. My friend Blastoise186 happens to know a Smart Meter Engineer who has managed Dual-Band installs with literally three times the range of a Single-Band install! Those things are just crazy powerful. :P
The commissioning process takes around six to eight weeks to fully run, so my guess is that your gas meter missed a read schedule. But there's an easy check for this. Try this tool out!

Perfecto! Sounds like it's all working then. I'd recommend asking customer service to verify the read schedules are set correctly and ask them to grab an instant reading from both meters. You can of course have those readings logged to your account immediately as they are considered valid meter readings.
