My newly installed Smart Meter isn’t communicating with EON so the new tariff cannot be updated. Therefore the ‘In Home Display’ cannot show the correct cost. Use in KWh is correct but not cost in £. Is there a compatible IHD out there with user set tariffs?

I hate to hear that your smart meters are not working!
Smart meters carry a 6 weeks connectivity wait (ths is when the meter is connecting with us) so sometimes they can take this whole time frame to start talking to our systems. If this is not the case and we need to look into this further then please get in contact with us. I'm afraid not as the tariff rates are set on the meters themselves. They should get updated once the commissioning process is completed. Would you be able to show me photos of everything please, as I might be able to diagnose possible issues.

@pdiplock Join the club. They installed a Smart Meter on the 24th Feb, engineer walked away as he could get it to communicate with E.ON.

No comms from E.ON, just left with a Dumb Meter.
