Yeah, that can sometimes fix issues. Effectively what would have happened, is that the outage would have caused both your electric meter and Comms Hub to lose power long enough to shut down, and then restart once power was restored. This would trigger a full reboot on both of them, along with a bunch of self-diagnostics. If you have a gas meter, that wouldn't have been affected though.

It's the only way to reboot a Comms Hub outside of DCC issuing a remote reboot command to the site.
