I have the same problem. I moved from e on to e on next. They've admitted being the same company but apparently that's where it ends. I've tried applying through the warm home discount link, but keeps taking me back to the homepage. I finally spoke to someone on e on next after 1hour 45 mins & was basically told that they can't help me. I've more or less lost out on my warm home discount. My best advice is to change supplier, which I will be doing in the new year.

You should still be able to apply for now, as applications remain open until around January/February. I'm not supplied by E.On myself, but it seems the apply now link merely takes you to your online account - so presumably there's a button in there somewhere once you're logged in.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Sorry to hear you were kept hanging on the phone for nearly 2 hours! I put it down to a combination of the energy crisis and the pandemic crisis; and also the climate change crisis, and the resulting poor state of the economy all leading to the perfect storm of crisis upon crisis. If you think the grass is greener elsewhere you may be in for an upsetting shock. In Uswitch.com it states
Now might not be the best time to switch: Increasing energy prices mean there are fewer cheap deals available in the market.
So take care before you decide to gamble on switching elsewhere, where customer service may also be affected by the crisis.
In my experience, and given the circumstances, try using Twitter to contact customer service via private message function. Give it another chance, and last but not least be patient; everything takes longer in a crisis.

I had a look into your account and it seems that it has already been sent out to you.

"Account has already received Warm Home Discount for this tax year."

If you believe this has been incorrectly stated, the best way to get in touch is via Facebook/Twitter and an Energy Specialist will look into this with you.
