I've recently renewed my fixed price tariff -- now on Next Fixed 16m v1, Fixed term ends 26/06/2026.
However, shortly after the renewal I received an email telling me my fixed price tariff had ended and I had switched to the standard variable tariff.
My online account confirmed that I was indeed on the new fixed tariff, and when I contacted Customer Services, they confirmed this was the case and said that the email "was sent in error".
Several weeks later I have now received a second email stating that I am on a variable tariff, and suggesting I choose a fixed price one!
My concern is that I eventually will end up on a variable tariff, because the error obviously hasn't been corrected.
I have just emailed Customer Services, but wondered if anyone else seen anything similar?
Welcome to our Eon Next Community and thank you for joining us 😊
I was just checking in to see if you have heard back from our customer service team and had your tariff details confirmed? If not I can pop you a dm for a couple of account details and take a look. 💜

Yes, they have confirmed that the fixed tariff is still in place and that the email was sent in error.
I will monitor the situation, because this isn't the first time I have received such an email.
Thanks.
Glad to see you had a confirmation email from CS. Keep it safe so you'll have an audit trail should you require it at anytime in the future. Have a good day.
I am glad to hear you're on the correct fixed tariff and we are aware there has been an error in the communication being sent out which we are working on a fix.
