At what time does the switch start, is it at 00:01 on the date agreed or at 23:59?

    Hey @Woodlands I'm Deb one of the coordinators on the community - welcome, it's lovely to meet you!

    The switch can happen at any point during the 24hrs on your date of switch it's not at a specific time, so you will be charged by octopus right up to your closing reading and we will charge you from that reading. Octopus will send us a reading through within 14 days that will tell us what reading we need to bill you from.

    We also ask you to send us your reading as well just to confirm everything is correct and up to date. It can take a while for your online account to become active as we need to have the meter details all confirmed and up to date and ensure you are fully on supply so it can take a minute to catch up. You can however pop your opening reading over to our energy specialists who can note your account you can find our contact info in this thread - How to Contact E.ON Next

    As the others have pointed out you will be on the Next Flex until your account is fully set up and we are fully receiving your data and are able to accurately bill you. Once you have been switched over to the Next Drive the team will email you to let you know 😀

    @DebF_EONNext Thanks for the welcome.
    As mentioned above, tried to enter the starting meter reading this morning, but both the website & App would not accept it.
    Therefore, it has been sent by email, with a photo of the meter showing the reading.
    Still waiting for confirmation it has been received and noted. @DebF_EONNext Are you able to confirm that?
