Does anyone know if Next Drive V6 (or any version come to that) Cheap rate times vary slightly depending on your location and/or the meter supply number you have as per this post for economy 7:
@SRH02 - my experience over the past 18 months is the cheap rate hours are billed as advertised: midnight to 7am.
I don't use an EV charge point (charging directly from a 13amp socket) so get the full 7hrs
However I only recently learned that EV chargers randomise their start times (so they don't all kick in at midnight), so potentially if a charger were to start at say 00:15 and was set to charge for the full 7 hours it would enter into the higher tariff rate in the morning.
@WizzyWigg, thanks for that thread, worth reading, it looks to me that despite the IHD & GMT/BST details, the billing is Midnight to 0700 hours, thus that's what I will use as my charge times going forward. Very much a newbie so still learning.
