I've happily been using the smart meter and the daily charge always 'reset' itself at @ midnight / 01.00 am.
A few weeks ago, there was a power cut due to the storms (this happened at 0715, and the power came back at 13:15), so since then the 'change' then took place at @12:00-13:00.
However this week we had another power cut - 12:30 til 16:15, and now the meter resets itself at @ 12:30.
Question is how can I 'reset' the meter so the daily changes happens between 00:00 and 08:00 ?
Note - I've done a 'unplug power from unit and power off' to no avail.
Hi @Estoban The IHD (In Home Display) only displays the information that's on your actual meters. Contact Customer Services and see if they can remotely help you.
Further to the advice of my esteemed colleague @WizzyWigg above, the IHD provides information but crucially does not impact billing, which is carried out remotely based on reading pulled direct from the meter, and not from the IHD. You can ask Customer Services to rectify the issue, which might be possible by remote instruction. But since the IHD and its information is not regarded by suppliers as key parts of the smart meter installation, they might not be prepared to do too much, if anything. Good luck!
