I currently take my power from another supplier but have solar panels and FIT with EON Next (it was how it was set up when I moved into my current home).
My current power supplier keeps trying to make me move onto a SMART meter but so far nobody has with confidence told me that it won't cause any problems as my FIT is with another supplier.
Can anyone tell me if this would likely cause any issues?

Installing a smart meter for your energy account means You can have a Smart Meter installed you could potentially have your payments changed from deemed to actual as per the terms and conditions. You can also find further information via our website 👉Get help with your Feed-in Tariff.
If you do go ahead with the installation of your smart meter please contact our FIT team on 0808 501 5218. Monday to Friday 9-5 (4:30pm Friday)
