We’ve worked this out by multiplying your total export amount in kilowatt hours (kW) by 16.5p/kW (your price per kW).
You should receive your payment within three weeks into your bank account.

Payments can take anywhere upto 14 working days, these payments have to be entered manually and then paid by our system. Not all payments for SEG are made via bank transfer.

Once the payment is added to the system, it takes a few days for this to be authorised and our finance team to release the payment. Once our bank releases the payment, this is then down to your bank to process.

This is all highlighted in our T&Cs for the scheme.

If you have not had the payment within 14 working days, I would advise to contact the SEG Team directly for an update.

Let us know when you do receive the payment, I would expect you to have the payment sooner than 14 working days, if the account has payments to a bank account set up.

Imagine if it worked the other way. Thanks for the bill I'll pay that within 3 weeks. No you take the money even before you've produced a bill, have to wait up to 48 hrs for that to show up.

It's part of the Community Guidelines, we edit posts that go against our guidelines.

The SEG payment taking this time is clear in our terms and conditions, I'm sure it's also in the welcome pack however I would need to double check this.

In terms of your bills, your direct debit is spread over the year, unless you're on a variable bill, which we then bill you and request the DD on the agreed date.

@Lee_EONNext Just because it says 15 working days doesnt mean that it is acceptable to do that in this instant payment era. Do EON only operate 5 days a week?

Yes I'm on variable DD as I see no benefit to me in EON having £000's of my money in their account.

@BruceM The 14 working days has been in place since the very start of the scheme and allows us to operate payments within those time frames, upon setting the scheme up, this was the time frame needed to pay our customers.

Again, this is in our T&Cs before application. We often pay faster than this however on occasion, you may be waiting upto 14 working days for a payment.
