🎄 It's that time of year again! Let's take a look at our Christmas/New year opening hours and resources to best support you over festive period🎄

🕐Opening Hours - Customer Facing teams and ECO Team🕐

Customer Facing 👋

• We have teams covering all days over Christmas and New Year!
• Ready to serve our customers via WhatsApp 24 hours over this Christmas/New Year period!

ECO/Emergency team operating hours 🚨

• The ECO team is closed 25th, 26th December and 1st January.
• During this time, if you are a high risk customer on the PSR please call 0345 300 0309.
• If you are off supply and on the PSR, you may qualify for an out of hours ECO. If there is a serious risk to your health you will need to call through to Bangor on 0345 300 0309
• Customers must be on the PSR regardless of fuel- gas or electric.

Resources - PP/PAYG Meter Types and Friendly Hours


Smart PAYG

• If you run out of credit between 4pm and 10am on a weekday, your electricity and gas won’t disconnect as long as you have at least 1p on your meter at 4pm. During the bank holidays, PAYG will stay on supply for both fuels as long as you have 1p on the meter on the 24th Dec/ 31st Dec.

Electric Prepayment Meters Friendly Hours

• This means this year, most of our prepayment customers from Wednesday 24th 6pm to Friday 27th 9am will be in friendly non disconnection (If you do go off supply on Friday morning remember, you'll need to top up enough money to clear anything that has been used in this time period plus £1 to get back on supply)

Prepayment Gas meters don’t have friendly hours ❌

• This means any prepayment Gas customer can go off supply during this time.

During this time, we'll all be working together to support each other and give you the best customer service.
