EON Next Everyday tracker is trial ready!

    Hey Community Members!

    You may have seen our warm up message a few weeks ago, but the time is now upon us, we're very excited to announce the first limited launch of our Everyday Tracker product to a lucky 100 people! And of course we wanted you to be the first to get the chance to be involved.

    How will the tracker product work?

    With this product, your electricity rate will change each day depending on the price of tomorrow’s wholesale costs. This means you can take advantage of cheap rates during particularly high renewable generation or low market demand.

    We've got you covered with some FAQs as we know this type of product is quite new, as well as some tips and tricks to help you maximise your benefit from it. Due to current geopolitical circumstances we have seen a rise in recent wholesale costs, please refer to the linked post to view rates over time to gain the full context.

    We're still learning...

    Right now, this is a test product just for electricity, but don't worry we will continue to investigate the possibility of creating a daily gas tracker further down the line. So in the meantime, gas rates will change on a quarterly basis and match Next Pledge, below the price cap.

    Now with this being a trial product, we are looking for people who don’t mind a few rough edges whilst we smooth out the customer journey - but we also need that honest feedback we know our community members can give to help shape the future direction of the product.

    If eligible you’ll receive your quote and principal terms via your preferred contact method, and if you accept at that point, you will be moved onto the product.

    We've also created a Specific Area within the community for those who do sign up to the trial to discuss how it's going, ask questions and share feedback - with both us and each other.

    I haven't got my smart meter yet - so its not for me.
    Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
