That is a question I am hoping to answer over the next few days. At least one neighbour has two EVs. There is also the possibility of a mesh network to a property on higher ground that can get a DCC signal. Our electricity network is also on the edge, with a limited split phase supply, so the ability of a smart meter to load shed may be critical.
The root of the problem is undoubtedly the lack of mobile coverage and there seems no way of solving thus, even if it is technically trivial.
As with every diverse community, there is always a mixture of opinions, knowledge as well as understanding - that’s what makes it such a great place to be!
