    Feed in Tariff - Transfer of Ownership

    Hello Everyone!

    As our demand increases, I thought I would pop a post out to our lovely community members with some information and tips on Transfer of ownership for FIT accounts 🙂




    If you have moved into a property which has an active FIT account please complete the one of the forms that's relevant to you via our website - https://www.eonnext.com/help/feed-in-tariffs

    Once complete please return all pages along with all supporting documents to either one of the following methods-

    Post: FiT Team, E.ON Next, Technology House, 239 Ampthill Road, Bedford, MK42 9QG


    You will need to provide the following documentation:


    • Valid proof of Identity - This can either be, a photocopy of passport, driving license or the equivalent identification document issued by a recognised official body .i.e. fire arm license/national identity card/birth certificate. Please note: if you’re sending a copy of your birth certificate you’ll also need to provide additional documentation such as a copy of your National Insurance Card or P45/P60/payslip or marriage certificate/decree nisi (court order for the divorce process) /decree absolute (legal document to confirm the divorce)
    • Proof of ownership of the installation - Proof that the installation has been transferred to you.


    We can accept the following forms which will need to have the new owners full name printed.


    • Law society property information form known as TA10 fixtures and fittings documents showing solar panels.
    • Letter from solicitor on company headed paper clearly stating that the solar panels were included in the purchase of the property and showing your FULL name.


    Alternatively a letter from the previous owner confirming this transfer showing your full name.

    In the case of a divorce, proof of ownership can be a copy of the divorce financial agreement or a divorce consent order.


    • Proof of address (Only if you are NOT an E.ON Next customer) - This can be in the form of a utility bill, bank statement, council tax bill or equivalent document, dated within the last 3 months.
    • A Meter reading - A full clear photo of your generation meter with the serial number and meter reading showing. This must be date stamped. Usually the properties in the photo will show the date the photo is taken.


    It is super important to include all the information above and sign the form to allow us to proceed with the application. If we have to ask for other documentation or to clarify anything, this can cause delays in your transfer.

    Multi Site Declaration

    We get a lot of questions about the declaration section on the form and I just wanted to touch up on this -
    This is if you have 25 or more sites with eligible PV solar installations.


    • 25 or more tick Yes and sign
    • Less than 25 tick No and sign






    Selling your panels/installation?

    If you are selling your property with the installation included, or just selling the installation separately please let us know as soon as possible.
    We will need:


    • a full clear photo of the generation meter with the serial number and reading showing on the day the sale is complete
    • Forwarding address
