Good points raised and we're gradually switching over to paperless bills which was always then plan and has been since EON Energy - there is always an option to have paper bills as with all other companies including banks.
We'll be looking after all our customers and having those conversations and those without an email address or having an online account won't be switched over. We have many customers accounts that do not have an email address.
Our post is to keep you guys updated with where we are with this and continuing with our paperless journey.
And you're right those that don't have access to the internet or someone that access their account online they won't be reading this and won't be alerted to going paperless. We may write to them in the future but for now we're focusing on all those that are managing their account online and can go paperless unless there is a reason they cannot which will be discussed on an individual basis.
We'll be back with any further updates as always! Hope this puts your mind at ease @meldrewreborn and @Mailman we're not just switching a button to turn off paper bills for all - we'll be gradually do this based on circumstances this is why we're doing this is batches and just letting you know how many more customers have now been switched to paperless bills with their consent.
