    E.ON Next Community Values

    We love having you all here in the community and we know you'll find some great advice, knowledge and support from our other members and volunteers.

    As a community team our main role is making sure everyone's safe and getting involved in some great conversations! We know some of you will have specific queries about your accounts, we want to keep your personal details safe so please don't post them on the forum.     We’re really proud that our community is a lovely place to spend time and chat with others - that’s because of all of you!

    We're all human (no matter what you've heard - we're not bots here at E.ON Next 🤖) and can all have bad days, get frustrated, feel angry and get a bit snappy 🐊 however please treat the community team and other community members with kindness, respect and compassion. Abuse of members including staff will not be tolerated. We're an inclusive and family friendly community and we won't accept any behaviour that could offend or hurt others including but not limited to:

    • Hate speech
    • Swearing
    • Abuse or aggression towards staff or other members
    • Anything Illegal
    • Anything aimed at 18+
    • Spam

    Remember the community is a public website, so please be mindful.

    We want to make sure you’re always safe online, especially when discussing personal & private stuff. This community is publicly accessible, so only share information here you would be happy to share publicly in the real world. Be safe and secure online.

    While it's lovely to see our members helping each other out - it's just as lovely to see people saying thanks when they do ❤

    Lets all show some appreciation to helpful members and volunteers 👏 You can hit thumbs up 👍 if you like a comment and even better if someone gives you an answer that resolves your query then tap that Best Answer button! You could even pay it forward by helping another community member or getting involved in other conversations 📣

    There's lots of space in the community to make sure you get the right support here's a list of our main boards:
    • Welcome, News & Updates: Welcome to the community - this is the place to start with how to get started guides, important updates including industry or government and service updates, news on whats happening on the community, within E.ON Next and across the E.ON Group.
    • Sustainable Future is where you want to head for everything solar, heat pumps, electric vehicles and boilers etc. It's also the place for energy saving tips and tricks 🍃
    • Help & Support section is for help with everything from billing, metering to bereavement and vulnerability.
    • Get Involved: We value your suggestion and feedback and we want to hear it all Have Your Say is where to go for this, watch out as we often post in there looking for beta testers for new tariffs and products if that's your thing. Perhaps you love a natter then Conversation Corner is the place to go for anything and everything else, it doesn't have to be energy related it could be sports, TV, hobbies and so much more.

    If you’re on another member’s thread please don't take over their post with your query if it's not relevant to the original posters topic - you can always get the conversation started and create your own thread too 😉. If you need help starting a thread give us a shout or check out our handy how to guides in Getting Started!

    We’re all here to be part of the community so let’s not spoil this space with posts trying to advertise, sell or visit dodgy websites 👀 We want to ensure that the community is safe and fair for everyone.

    If you’re asking for help you’ll only need one post it once. Creating dozens of posts about the same thing can be quite distracting for other members. The forum isn't manned 24/7 so isn't really the place if you have an emergency as we can't always get back to you straight away - you can find our contact information on this thread: How to contact E.ON Next

    If another member is causing you upset, you feel someone isn't respecting our values or you see something that isn't quite right - you can report this to the community team quickly and easily by clicking the 3 dots on the post then clicking on report, let's make this a positive space for everyone!

    So In summary...

    • Be kind & respectful to others - THINK: Is it True, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary and Kind?
    • Don't spam
    • Keep your personal information safe - don't post address', account numbers or phone numbers 🔐
    • Keep it clean no 18+ or swearing
    • Say thanks 👍
    • Above all else have fun, make some friends and learn something new!
