We receive notifications from Eon Next via paper letters, and have been asked to send in a meter reading. I tried to create an online account today, twice, with my email address, postcode, and the account number, but have still heard nothing.

With the tariff changes it's probably one of the busiest days. Setting up an online account might take a bit longer than normal. You can submit readings by phone, email or WhatsApp. Ways to contact can be found in the purple area at the bottom of the page.
There's a few options here depending on your circumstances.
Already have an E.ON Next account?
You should be able to log in here using your registered email address: My E.ON Next Dashboard if it's your first time logging in you will need to set up a password.
Make sure that your email address you are trying to log in with matches what's on your account, otherwise the system can't link anything to you.
If you have an account but we don't have your email address or your email address has changed then you should get in touch with an energy specialist who can get that added for you.
Don't have an E.ON Next account yet?
If you've just moved in and don't yet have an account then you will need to set this up.
You may have received an occupier pack through the post with a reference number to get set up online, if you have this please follow the instructions on the letter.
