Hey @Buzzirig24
Making a one off payment won't reduce the bill as this all depends on what you use, but in terms of how much you pay next month then possible yes, it all depends on how you pay (Direct Debit or Manually). Do you want to pop me a DM and I can look into this for you? 🙂
Yes you can make a one off payment, in effect you would be paying before you had to. Your bill will not be any lower - there would be no discount for you having paid earlier.
Better to earn a bit of interest before you have to pay.

@Connor_EONNext - There seems to be a communications problem both with the Living Lab and whoever is running the GBIS. I keep getting
reminders about completing registration for Living Labs but this was done in October, we have been sharing meter readings since 27th October and I have received the November newsletter + another email about measuring how smart our home is. So I think we are registered.!
As for the GBIS, this seems to be a shambles, we signed up nearly 12 months ago and heard nothing until the end of September when someone rang and claimed that a 2nd appointment for a roof survey (we hadn't heard about a 1st one) would need to be made as'the computer system' had 'lost' records of some hypothetical survey visit made in February (which for various reasons could not have happened). A surveyor called Stefan duly turned up as arranged on Saturday 12th October. The only communication since has been a rather odd phone call on 31st October. The caller wanted to know why we hadn't replied to a 'survey visit follow-up' e-mail which was supposed to have been sent earlier. I confirmed our e-mail address but nothing has turned up. I reverse checked the caller's phone number and it appears to be connected to the E.on Home Upgrade Grant, but I have had no communlcation from these people either. So, what is going on?
