This isn't causing me any difficulties but.............
My EAC has remained the same for 4 months. Previously it changed every bill for the previous 18 months. My consumption has been on a downward trend since i replaced the freezer and there is still some way to go before the EAC gets down to something close to my annual consumption.
Statistically its highly improbable that my EAC would stay exactly the same over such a long period. Is there a general problem with the EAC system that we should know about?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@meldrewreborn My EAC does change with each bill. Has done for many moons. It's reasonably inline with usage and predictions. 🤔
Ditto - all readings smart for 18 months + 👍 and EAC's pretty close to AA (12 months annualised advance)
I asked the same question to @retrotecchie WRT to whether there is an issue with manual meter reads not feeding through to the 3rd party responsible for updating EAC's, but I believe he is still having connection issues so we shall await his input on this. If he confirms what @meldrewreborn (and others are suggesting) it would suggest there is a system-wide issue going on. 🙄
Non smart meter so no AA related to the calculation of my EAC. My EAC varies but is around 40% higher than my actual consumption. I ignore it as it's just plucked out of thin air and has no relevance whatsoever if you have variable DD.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Not every month. But it certainly seems utterly unrelated to factual consumption in the same way as the EPC has no bearing on an actual real-life example of any household I know 🤪
Mmmm this might suggest that EAC amendments are updated more regularly for smart meter readings than for manual reads (possibly ignored for many months). My next bill (with EAC) should arrive in the morning - AA (April) was 2348kWh v AA(May) 2357kWh and the EAC(April) was 2392.4 kWh so only 35.4 kWh out 😅
Matters not for me at all either as I'm also back on VDD 😁 but it can be an issue for some on Fixed DD with unrealistic levels of DD. 🙄

Methinks you are right. I've had reasonably good smart readings for electricity but my gas has been off and on dumb for 3 years, until Christmas 2023. My electric EAC (April) 1935 kWh my figures (April) 1939 kWh. As for gas the figures are slowly (very slowly) coming together.
@meldrewreborn It's looking like there could be an issue arising, especially as there are a couple of threads now about eac, I will try and do some digging and come back to you.
It's odd that some are changing and some aren't.
