I think this is pretty unequivocal so I may just go ahead anyway I presume Hannah can get it sorted for me if I do get charged.
Wouldn’t it be nice if @Han_EONNext or any other Nextie would just state on here categorically that internal exit fees have been scrapped from all tariffs, even retrospectively and in spite of T&Cs? And if that’s not the case, what is?
Also, if a statement has NONE next to Early Exit Fee, does that mean NONE or does it mean No Internal Switch Fee?
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
These are the tariffs that still have internal exit fees:
Historic tariffs WITH internal exit fees:
Next Secure Fixed 12m v1, v2, v3 & v4
Next Fixed 24m v1, v2, v5, v6, v7 & v8
Next Fixed 18m v1
Next Fixed 12m v3, v4, v5, v6, v7, v8 & v9
Next Secure Fixed April 12m v4
Next Secure Fixed April 24m v1
Next Secure 24m v1
As your tariff is on the list then internal exit fees still apply, as I think they do also for @Chihuabacca.
Personally, I'd raise a complaint because eonnext should not be stating 'None' on your bills if exit fees still apply - Internal or External. It is very poor from eonnext, the lack of clarity, communication and the confusion they create is bewildering sometimes.
I only have 3 months until I can definitely switch with no penalty based on the 42/49 day rules, but that will see me off to Octopus then rather than switch to a new fixed term with eon.next. so I may just sit right till this is clarified.

@Andy65 What’s the source of this info please? I’m on Next Secure Fixed 24m v2 which is not on your list.
Well a friend and I separately were just about to switch to the pledge tracker, from Next Fixed 12M v6 as there have been no exit fees since the April statement and the online dashboard Switch link takes me to the available tariffs without any mention of exit fees ... so what is going on! ... Good job I found your thread @Chihuabacca.

I switched by asking the WhatsApp customer service team to do it, as they confirmed no exit fees would apply despite the webpage displaying a fee.
The online system doesn't seem to be set up to charge fees correctly.
If you've been able to switch without incurring exit fees then well done. That list of historic tariffs WITH internal exit fees was supplied by a Moderator, so I would expect it to be correct. As I said though the communication is poor, and it seems that whether you'll pay internal exit fees depends upon who you ask.
Well I've just had another month's statement saying no exit fees for me, and it's also specifically saying I can save money if I switch to these tariffs.....

Your account is one of those incorrectly showing 'None' for exit fees, as mentioned by @DebF_EONNext above. Your tariff is also on the list of tariffs where internal switching fees still apply. It's poor and confusing from eonnext to be frank.
The fact that your statement says that you could save money by switching tariffs is irrelevant as far whether exit fees are chargeable or not.
