I think my seg transfer from Octopus has happened. I wa used to with Octopus it all being in one account but it looks like EON do it separately which is ok. My second account though doesn’t seem to have any traffic details and my only option seems to be setting up a direct debit for EON to take money?
there is also no meter reading info from my smart meter which was working with octopus.
do I just wait for it to be sorted or am I supposed do something?
As feed back comma for the SEG has been poor you don’t get confirmation that you have applied and you don’t get any info what to expect.
Hope you have had some movement on this? If your SEG is set up it's not something you can manage online or via the App. The only thing you can now do online is submit readings for payment via a form.
SEG is indeed handled differently to an Energy account, if you wanted to switch the SEG to us a SEG Switch would need to be completed? Have you completed this? Have you had any confirmation this has been set up?

spoke to SEG team yes I’m all setup , I was expecting something like Octopus where they use the smart meter to automatically read you meter. But it’s a bit more basic with EON and after 12 months you send in a reading and they pay you for you export. I did feed back to the team that maybe the onboarding process could explain this. Not sure why EON can’t use the smart meter but it is what it is.
@Plan68 Hey, just checking in, been a while since we spoke?
To let you know, you can request payment upto 4 times a year now, so you no longer have to wait for the end of 12 months. Payments can take upto 14 working days from submission to reach you.
All you need to do is send us a photo of your export reading (photo) showing the total actual export. You can send this in via WhatsApp or email to hi@eonnext.com
We do pay upto 3 times a year and then a 4th at the end of your contract.
