Sorry @geoffers only shows how to show usage for each register not tariff per KWh. I've seriously scanned many sites, found lots like that pdf but nothing about showing the tariff. Thanks anyway. π΄
Agreed - that example shows the Tariff TOU registers, but there are other menu options available too (shown in the first 2 images)....
I would guess that the tariff details would be found if you navigate through the <Configuration> or <Basic Data> menu options, but without access to that meter can't be sure
I'll have a look over the weekend and report back :-)
Brilliant π. If you do by chance find the tariff information on your meter then that could be helpful to many. There is absolutely nothing out on the Tinternet for the MA120 other than how to read usage. π΄ Have a wonderful day. π
Well I spent a good deal of time going through all of the settings and menu options and there was no display of the actual Tarrif value / Standing Charge Value in any of the screens let alone when the tarrif was last updated on the meter.
Under the logs (max 100 rolling) I did see lots of these (all with an event code of 8154) but no real value I fear:
@PaulS2024 That's a shame. π. Doing a quick search I think that code is just your IHD communicating. The searches keep coming up with "Immediate HAN Interface Command Received and Successfully Actioned". π€
@geoffers It's the early bird π¦ that catches the worm ππππ.
If the tariff is stored in the meter it's certainly hidden in it's deepest depths. π³ The way things are it would probably be easier to find the lost city of Atlantis. π
The ESME regulations state that for smart meters, the tariff has to be present on the meter, even if incorrect, (otherwise how would the IHD guesstimate costs) but there is nowhere it says it has to be visible to the end user on the meter itself!
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

ππ I thought you would have the answer. ππ. π
I wonder how Eon will react to my request to prove that the meter is not getting a new tarrif update every day. For me, I think it is on them to show that the IHD is faulty and they don't seem to be able to do that without showing me the tarrif on the meter and the date it was ingested. The only other option would be for them to provide another IHD and if that worked okay then I could send it back to them and admit defeat.
