Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@WizzyWigg excellent, thanks. @meldrewreborn An interesting result: both standing charge and 'Active price t1' values are not the same as shown on our statement.
From the meter: Standing charge is 00028.484; Active price T1 is 00010.276
From statement: standing charge is 28.191; unit rate is 7.022p/kWh
@meldrewreborn Interesting - the customer support rep was not aware of the Community (but thought it was a very good idea)!
She tried the tariff rate push while I was on the call but that did not allow them to take a reading. She has passed the problem to the Eon Smart team for remote diagnosis. If this is unsuccessful, an appointment will be made for an on-site visit by an Eon or MDS technician. We'll get a follow-up call in 14 days.
So here we go round again!
