Hi all - we currently have a Edmi CS010A-08-A2 electric meter installed. It’s the first time in years we’ve gone to a direct debit and needing to actually submit meter readings but can’t find any guides at all for this meter type? 🙂 any help appreciated!
The Kaifa MA120 can be a little harder to navigate when you need to locate the meter reading. The below should help you to get your reading(s):
Press the up arrow button until you see a menu with “General Display” as the top option.
Press and hold the up arrow button until the next menu appears.
Use the down arrow button to scroll down to “Tariff matrix”.
Press the up arrow button to select this, and you’ll see a menu with “TOU Register” as an option.
Press and hold the up arrow button to select “TOU Register” and you’ll see a list of 4 rates (some might be blank). Your readings are the ones with numbers against them.
If you have an Economy 7 meter and you’re not sure which reading is which, you can compare them to your last readings on your online account. Or read your meter twice, a few hours apart, during the daytime – the number that’s changed is your day rate

Evening @Rhi This link might help: https://www.eonnext.com/help/metering
If this doesn't help can you send a photo of your meter. I'm not totally convinced the meter description you've given is correct. I think it's the coms hub.
I just put your meter type into Google and at the top of the results is a you tube video of how to read what I think might be your meter. Can’t see how to link it but have a quick search and you should find it .
The EDMI CS010A-08-A2 is the comms hub, not the meter.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Thanks for all the tips guys! I went on the citizens advice link sent and it tells me it should be sending enter readings with it been a SMETS2 meter but when I log on it tells me it’s 61 days now since they’ve updated it 🙃 I’ve added a photo of my meter for reference 🙂
Sorry about my previous link to You Tube, I was on my mobile and must have seen what I wanted to see rather than what I actually saw. Senior moment. Looks like you have a Kaifa MA120 (Hardware Platform V2). If you still need to know how to read it you can try to Google it and see what you come up with. I tried and found two different explanations so I won't confuse things further for you by linking to anything 😂
