I signed up to eonnext in five months ago and haven't had a bill until this week.
Why did i have to pester for the bill?
Why doesn't the bill show me my usage per month?
Why won't a bill be provided that details the usage and tariff- I've asked four times?
Submitting meter readings generally generates a bill. If you submit a meter reading once a month you should then receive a monthly bill. Paying by monthly fixed or variable direct debit attracts a discount on these bills due to a lower tariff rate.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Afternoon @Pauled22344 If you go on to your online account and download your statement you will see it shows tariff, standing charge, usage and meter readings. If submit a monthly reading as @JoeSoap says then the usage will be monthly which saves doing any maths.
@Pauled22344 If you look at your latest statement what dates are shown on it? The one I've posted is from 23/12/2023 to 23/01/2024 as I submit monthly readings.
The statement you have provided shows the amount of electricity used between 1st and 31st of November 2023.
however, i want to know how much was used in September, and October, and December.
How many units did I use in each month on each rate?
Hi @Pauled22344 Just to say I'm a customer like you and trying to help, I am not an employee of Eon Next. 👴
If readings were taken for those months then you will find them in your online account under My Bills, view Statements and Payments.
Between 4.11.23 and 3.12.23 I was charged 25.89 ppkwh.
Between 4.12.23 and 26.12.23 I wad charged 25.89 ppkwh.
Between 28.11.23 and 2.11.23 I was correctly charged 9.048 ppkwh and 31.271 ppkwh depending on the time of day.
WHY WASNT I CHARGED THESE PEAK AND OFF PEAK PPKWH RATES IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER?
@Pauled22344 it might be worth telling the forum what tariff you are on, and do you have smart meters that are functioning. Some of the our very learned members might be able to give advice. 👴
