I need an email address to forward a complaint to regarding the change of my meter to single rate from dual rate by EON Energy in Dec 2021 whilst I wasn’t a customer of theirs. I tried EON as I thought but this was EON Next who said as I was out of contract with them when this happened my account details weren’t transferred to EON Next and they can’t help. All web info sends me to EON Next phone and emails. I am having to take this further as my current provider is next to useless trying to resolve this (the provider who I was with when it happened has offered compensation but no light on why it happened) Just an email address - how hard can it be.
EON.Next are the domestic arm of EON in the UK and deal with domestic accounts. EON are the business and commercial division. All domestic customers would have been ported over to EON.Next.
Their complaints email is unhappy@eonnext.com. If the problem lies with the transfer of older EON accounts to EON.Next, but you have had another supplier in the interim, then that confuses things a little.
EON.Energy is not a supplier, except in Germany, but their energy saving and sustainability arm of the business.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
many thanks for your reply. It is a business account that is the issue and it was EON Next who said EON Energy would hold the account records but didn’t supply a contact for them and have gone quiet when I asked if they could provide one.
Edit... Just noticed that although this link is to an Eon site, the business email address is to Eon Next. Maybe worth a try anyway and see where it leads.

I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
@Hairdressers I am going to pop a message over to my colleagues in the SME (business) team and see what I can find out for you and see if we can get you some support or a contact 😊
