I have the same issue of missing gas data as the others above. I updated the Eon Next app to v1.12.846 like @geoffers did and I’m running the latest version iOS 17.2.1. All to no avail.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Morning @PeterT_EONNext . This may be nothing but would this problem have anything to do with the OS version? I'm running Android 11 and @geoffers I know is V13. It just he seems to have his history back after the recent update. 🤔
Although I did have the missing January gas readings in the app before the recent update, so it looks like the new app version has corrected this for me.
@PeterT_EONNext is there not a data protection act responsibility for companies to maintain accurate records? The absence of any gas usage from 1 January to 15 January either implies I’ve used no gas during this period (unlikely given recent temperatures) or EON Next are not maintaining accurate records. At this critical time of year customers rely on accurate energy usage so that they can forecast what their bills will be during winter.
As long as your energy company can read the meter on a monthly basis (or you supply a billing reading yourself), there are no other obligations to do with being able to provide more granular data. I suspect the problem may be as much down to the DCC as it is E.On Next as this seems to be a widespread issue across multiple suppliers.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
... I suspect the problem may be as much down to the DCC as it is E.On Next ...
Don't think it's anything to do with the DCC, as the Bright app and the latest update to EOn app has no problem displaying the January gas data - clearly something amiss in the EOn app 😵💫😕
Hi @geoffers compare this screen shot of my Bright app with my Eon app screen shot. Particularly the 15th 16th and 17th. Something missing? 🤔
However my Eon(top)/Bright(bottom) apps both show gas data for these dates
...which leads me to believe that it's not a DCC problem (since I'm getting the readings in both apps via the DCC) but something with the way that Bright/EOn are processing the data received from the DCC🫤

Certainly baffling. Particularly if you see this screen shot and again compare it with my Eon app shot. 🤔
