Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
@Mailman could I ask you at some point (absolutely no rush at all) to let me know what version of Opera you are running and likewise which Windows. If you wouldn't mind. 🍻
Am on my Fire Max tablet now. Will advise on the Opera browser in the morning but It updates regularly automatically and often.
Perhaps the account settings/options are different between us. Maybe the health check requires all messaging options to be turned on so I'd try turning various account options on as well to see if this makes a difference.
@Mailman Cheers 👍. It could turn out to be account specific but I might try a few experiments when I get bored 🤔😂.
Like all these browsers there are regular nightly updates. Knowing your version might give me a clue. There's absolutely no rush.
A question for you chaps. I don't use the E.On app. I had it for a couple of months on my Andrex phone, but other than having an icon to allow me to turn my phone flashlight on (presumably for reading the meter), it offered absolutely no functionality whatsoever for folks without smart meters that I couldn't do quicker and easier in my online account on a PC. I'd never use the phone as a browser unless I was away from the desk because a square metre of monitor, a keyboard and a mouse is a million times easier than using a 6" touch screen phone at arms length and having to wear my reading glasses!
But the question is, clearly the app has the smart meter related gubbins if you have a smart meter, but the same app doesn't if you don't. Does the same apply for the E.On Next online account?. Do you see smart meter related guff on there and if so, does it give you data (erroneously or otherwise) the same as an app on the phone? Just interested, is all because on a PC, you could easily scalp the data and export it to a spreadsheet, for example.
Morning @retrotecchie Primarily have the app so as to understand what everyone is going on about on the forum. 😂 Otherwise with my problematical "Not So Smart Meters" it's of no real use. Bright app not much better either.
My online account on the laptop does everything perfectly.
The flashlight bit was good until I found if I shook the phone vigorously it came on. 😁
Only time I may use the browser on the phone is to watch the snooker, F1, etc, whilst sitting in the car waiting for SWMBO to come out of the clothes shop. 😏
I think the question is what would we do if we didn't have these apps? Would the world come to an end! 🤔

Neither do I as I note daily kWh usage from the IHD.
In my online account no usage data apart from the meter read listings and statements. The same as for non-smarties.

I rarely use the app but handy for account info if I’m not at the computer. The online account doesn’t show any smart data that I know of.
