I had new PAYG smart meters fitted yesterday. How long does it take to transfer my previous balance over from my old PAYG meters and when can I start to top up? I’m sure the engineer said I had to wait for an email and I am using friendly credit at the moment that will come off my previous balance but don’t want to use it all up and have to start again with credit
It can take anywhere between 3-5 days for your credit to be moved from your old meters, to your new Smart Pay As You Go meters, this is whilst your metering information is updated on your account in the background.
Assuming no issues arise, this should have been completed for you now. Has the credit been moved over from your old meters to your new meters? 🙂

Morning @diamond247 I'm not totally sure on this but 4 days runs to mind for the transfer of credit. Now it could be 4 working days (not weekends or bank holidays). I could be totally wrong, but you can always contact Customer Services to check. Ways to do so can be found via this link: https://www.eonnext.com/contact
@WizzyWigg Thank you, I’ll contact them as nothing is showing on the app either. I like to keep it topped up and don’t want to use all my credit and have to start from scratch again
