Hi - after completing account info ready to make the switch over to EON I get the following message in red….Existing electricity meter-point has been billed past its SSD
what does this mean and what do I need to do next? Thanks -

It usually means that the meter has had a reading taken and has been billed (by your previous supplier) past the supply switch date. I suggest a phone call to customer services to find out what you need to do but I suspect they will claim any overpayment to your previous supplier.

Evening. The only thing I can tell you is SSD stands for "Supply start date". Hopefully some of the more learned members can elaborate. -

@retrotecchie is spot on and so if @WizzyWigg with the abbreviation.
It means the previous supplier has billed you to a reading after the agreed start of the supply date, which is your start date with us. It's an easy fix, we can raise a dispute or you can call the previous supplier, either way it's best to speak to our customer services team to get the ball moving.
