It's the time of the year where Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé are defrosted and we start hearing Christmas songs being blasted in every shop, workplace and radio.
Some more memorable than others - we'd love to hear what everyone's favourite and least favourite songs are.
I'll start it off:
My favourite song (although not everyone's cup of tea) is Band aid's Do they know it's Christmas -
My least favourite (I don't dislike it as such, but by the end of November the song can get a little annoying🤣) is Mariah Carey's All I want for Christmas is you -
Let's hear yours! link the music video below 🎄

🌳Together we can work to achieve a more sustainable Future 🌳
I know I'm a bit of a sad sack, but my Festering Playlist has to contain Feliz Navidad by Jose Feliciano, A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chris de Burgh and the Coventry Carol by The Medieval Baebes. There might be a Kevin Wilson track in there too but it's a bit rude!

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Here you are these are the contenders for the Number One spot for Christmas :
Last Christmas by Wham! is the favourite - it originally reached number two in 1984 and has been number one twice in the past three years, but never in Christmas week itself
You're Christmas To Me by Sam Ryder is an Amazon exclusive and is being heavily promoted by the company including on its Christmas music playlists and the soundtrack of its film Your Christmas Or Mine 2
All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey was a number two in 1994 but like Last Christmas has been denied the Christmas number one spot in recent years by LadBaby
Fairytale of New York by The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl has never been number one but has gained support following the death of Pogues singer Shane MacGowan last month
Merry Christmas by Ed Sheeran & Sir Elton John was number one before and after Christmas when it was released in 2021, but was denied the actual Christmas number one that year by - you guessed it - LadBaby
Fairytale of New York by the Pogues, and A spaceman came travelling by Chris De Burgh are my favourites. Many moons ago I used to really like 'I wish it could be Christmas every day' by Wizzard. I don't dislike hearing it now, but it's a bit dated .🎄🎅🤶⛄
I like traditional carols too, either sung or played by a brass band.🎺
I haven't got a least favourite, other than those rubbishy Ladbaby ones.
