@Mailman Thanks Mailman, I've also had that but this time just hasn't come back after displaying correct rates for 24 hours then mysteriously dropped the gas.
@retrotecchie Many thanks for your input, if the update had corrupted the proxy the IHD wouldn't have shown correct rates for 24 hours before dropping the gas , I assume?
Eon have advised me to let them know if battery goes flat on main meter......
@Mailman Thanks Mailman, I've also had that but this time just hasn't come back after displaying correct rates for 24 hours then mysteriously dropped the gas.
And have the actual meter reads (via the menu bottom right, press six sqaures -> meter info) disappeared off the IHD as well as the 'so far today' usage for your gas?
It is 100% a faulty IHD and Ivie Bud will need to replace this. I am due to finish in a moment and I am off for a few days. I will ask @Connor_EONNext to keep an eye on this until i'm back next Thursday.
In all honesty though @KevinF Ivie should replace this with no issues as I mentioned, because we can read both your meters it is definitely the IHD. Good job you have the warranty in place.

@Lee_EONNext Thanks for this it's just over one year old and I've just received a reply from Ivie stating it's definitely not the Bud, did you send through another update?
@Mailman Hi mine is only showing electricity now. for some reason it won't let me download photo but where yours has electric and gas mine only shows electric!
If your actual gas meter itself is not dead I'd be taking regular readings from the meter (now and possibly monthly thereafter). Are Eon Next billing you to the actual meter? Or are they estimating your reads (esp your gas)?
