WMC don't make the meter, only the communications hub. That is either bolted on to the top of the meter, or connected via a flying lead.
The actual meter itself will be Landys and Gyr, EDMI, Aclara or secure probably.
A picture would help or the legend on each of the lights, and how fast they flash and what colour they are. Without that information, it's hard to diagnose.

In which case your meter is theoretically working fine so the problem likely lies with E.On Next getting data to or from the meter.
If communication between the meter and supplier has been interrupted, this can sometimes prevent communications across the HAN to the IHD display. A call to customer services is in order, I suggest. Ask them to try and pull a smart read and issue a remote reset command to the meter.
I haven't been able to get that far with them unfortunately, I've been asked to reset the IHD 6 times so far to no avail. They did tell me they had reset it their end which hadn't worked either however on my last communication they decided to open a complaint instead of anything else 🤷 thank you though
