Yes. That's the one. Although, I would watch The Good Life it it was on. I always had a thing about Penelope Keith.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
I liked 'The Good Life', but my two favourite sitcoms are 'Only Fools and Horses', and 'Open All Hours'. I liked Morecambe and Wise too. Ronnie Barker and Eric Morecambe: two of the all-time comedy greats, in my humble opinion. 👍
Nothing quite makes me belly-laugh quite like the episode with the chandeliers or the one where Del Boy goes to lean on the bar but the flap is open and he falls through it. Absolute comedy gold, and no matter how often I see those episodes, it still brings tears to my eyes.
But my all time favourite was the feature-length "Jolly Boys Outing to Margate"...pure unadulterated joy, that is 👍
They were brilliant weren't they. Another favourite of mine is the Dads Army episode where Philip Madoc played the German U-Boat Captain. Arthur Lowe as Captain Mainwaring: 'Don't tell him Pike', 🤣🤣🤣
Some of my favourite comedy sketches are The Two Ronnies 'Four Candles' one, and Morecambe and Wise with Andre Previn,' I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order', and especially the one where they were making breakfast to the music of 'The Str1pper. The timing of their movements and actions to the music was fantastic. Check them out on Youtube if you haven't seen them. I laugh every time I watch them.🤣🤣🤣
I was determined to watch one version of A Christmas Carol. I found the Patrick Stewart and Richard E Grant one on You Tube last night so job done, although we’re down to watch Scrooged at some point. Not seen that one yet.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
