£1.58 for 5th Dec 🎉 Down to 0.21kwh, apparently that's a 71% reduction! Short of just throwing the main fusebox switch for an hour not much more I can do to squeeze a bit more. Might try putting the computer stuff on to battery backup next time

My rough calculations conclude that you reduced by 0.514kWh. Allowing for rounding I would say that means they are paying £3/kWh of reduction. No doubt my maths tutor @Mailman will double check for me 😂
I think I saved around 83% at 0.62kWh reduction so if I get around £1.86 then I'll be happy.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

No need to double check anymore. Now that my work is done you may consider yourself a trustee. Got any snout? 😎
Just finished this 5 Dec event. Average usage about 0.75 kW and actual about 0.13kW so 0.62 saved. Should get about £1.85.
Just got my results and I reduced consumption's by a whopping 82% and was indeed awarded £1.85. That confirms the £3/kWh that I based my calculations on.

Good lad. Now that you mastered the art of this particular branch of mathematics, how about a quick refresher course on differential calculus or trigonometric functions or is this a step too far?
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

The answer is YES to the question posed in the last seven words.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Having left school at 15 before doing any exams leading to qualifications, I completely escaped calculus. I caught up with general education during and after my apprenticeship so got to grips with some aspects of maths but thankfully still escaped calculus. Fellow apprentices used to talk of it in a way that filled me with dread and to this day I don't even know what it entails. Happy for it to stay that way 😆
