Good you are back at least. We'd all miss the banter if you vanished completely 😉👍😎
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Become a Mailman and you'll have the DNA to wear shorts during the day as well.😃
Some us soft shandy-drinking Southerners wear shorts all year round. Under our regular trews as an extra layer, usually.
Our postie turned up yesterday wearing long trousers. I didn't recognise him at first! He told me that it was because the sun was out, the temperature reached double digits and it wasn't raining so he didn't want to burn his legs 🤣🤣🤣
Good you are back at least. We'd all miss the banter if you vanished completely 😉👍😎
Aww Thank you. I'd miss the banter too, so hopefully the glitch or whatever it is that caused the problem won't happen again to me, or any other forum member.👍😃
@JoeSoap This is a great heads up - only been wearing glasses for the past five or so years and couldn't believe my eyes at the price of a new pair(no pun intended🤣) Is the repair on the glasses noticeable or did they do anything to blend the repair in?
🌳Together we can work to achieve a more sustainable Future 🌳
@JoeSoap lovely - I've thought about getting a pair repaired before but always worry that the join will stand out - great to hear this isn't the case. Will definitely be baring this in mind in the future 🙌
Here are before and after-repair photos. When I zoomed in to the ‘after’ photo I noticed a tiny chip out of the lens next to the weld that I didn’t see before. I was a bit disappointed. Then I zoomed in to the ‘before’ photo and saw it was already there before I sent them off. I think it’s a neat little weld to be fair.
