So this year my car is going to fail the MOT on 'excess patina'π then?
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Given how often theyβre opened and closed, tea caddies last a hell of a long time!
great design.

To this day, one of my most vivid childhood memories is of going to visit my Grandparents up in Edgeware. They were proper traditionalists and used to have PG Tips or Brooke Bond packet tea (4 oz as I recall) which came with the trading cards. Every visit, I'd have the pleasure of opening up one of the two copper caddies which Granny kept the cards in for me. The smell of the inside of a tea caddy as I open it still instantly transports me back to Dryfield Road and Granny's pantry when I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Both of them were 'three pots a day' tea-drinkers, and could easily consume a packet in a day if the family were gathering. With my mother being one of seven and most of the family having kids, a full-on visit meant a lot of tea...and more trading cards for me.
