lights on meter flash green every 5 seconds. The first 2 light and the last 2 light. The light in the middle doesn’t flash
I found this on the OVO forum explaining the Comms light flash sequence (with gif images showing the timings) - it describes the Toshiba Comms hub, but the next post down does show your WNC UBC TN6 hub, which is presumably the same.
@mav82uk Ok - I've just had a look at my hub flashes and it's the same as yours ie. left 2 & right 2 flash every 5secs, middle not flashing so presumably not connected to Mesh, (whatever that is)... which the 1st post says everything is functioning as normal 👍

which is what Eon keep telling me, but still no closer to knowing why the IHD won’t show my electricity useage
@mav82uk - OK - so it looks like all your communications are working fine, so not a problem with the comms-hub (which sends the data to the IHD via the HAN, and to DCC>EOn via the WAN)
So as I guess you've deduced there must be some problem with your electric meter itself (ESME) which isn't talking to anything (so is presumably faulty)
This is where the conundrum is. The electricity meter sends info to eon to produce bills etc so they’re not for budging with there being an issue with the meter. Their stock answer is my IHD is faulty and so is the brand new Ivie bud IHD.
was hoping someone who was techie in their knowledge a could offer advice. Or if someone has had similar issues and got a fox
if your electricity data is getting to eon next, then the meter is talking successfully to the comms hub. But the comms hub isn’t talking to (now) 2 different IHD’s. Therefore to me there is a fault in the HAN side of the comms hub.
if so the solution is a replacement comms hub. I doubt that Eon Next would be prioritising such a repair while you can submit manual readings.
Apologies in advance if I’ve got any of this wrong.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
I don’t understand the varying comms parts of this, but I would agree with you that they wouldn’t prioritise a fix. Disappointed though that they told
me to buy a new one!
looks like I’m sending the Ivie bud back for a refund and asking Eon again.

Hmmm - I know it's not much help, but I've just Googled for "itron em425-uk2 not sending reading to ihd" and it looks like you're not the only one ... quickly found at least 2 other posts where gas is showing on the IHD but 'leccy has stopped being displayed ☹️
I don't think it can be a problem with the HAN itself, as the gas reading is getting through to the IHD
I think me and Blastoise186 have seen this before. It feels like the ESME has somehow disconnected from the HAN. You may need to have a few things rebooted...
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...
