My IHD (Smartview 3)recently has started to reset at 2.00 am instead of the usual Midnight like it always has. I tried restarting the device, but it didn't resolve it.
On further investigation I discovered that my Smart meter time is two hours behind (displays 10pm when it is actually midnight)
Is there a resolution to this? It seems to me that if the meter is handshaking with a local mobile network or however it does it, it should be fairly easy to keep an accurate record of the actual time and not 2 hours in the past.
Hi Joe, thanks for reply, fair enough, but surely if this was the case, then there must be a way to set it locally - which doesn't seem to exist 8) I should also note that the IHD seems able to update the time accurately which also doesn't have an adjustment for time/date settings.
oopsie 8) yeah sorry, I dont often have concerns with "technical stuff" as Im quite savvy, but my OCD on this one, and the expectant midnight reset im used to observing is driving me nuts. Thanks m8.

I would put something like ''Smart Meter Clock Time Reading Incorrect'' in the title of an email to hi@eonnext.com to get it to the right department and then put your account and personal details in the text with a bit more info on the issue.
The Comms Hub needs a reboot in this case iirc. Seems your site has gotten massively out of sync.
