Another issue which wasn't working properly was the fingerprint login option, which it never seemed to remember. It's allowed me to select fingerprint login but I'll have to wait to see whether it's retained this option the next time it asks for me to login
As someone who has never been able to see this app (because I am unable to download it in the first place) can I ask those that are able to use it:
What additional information does the app give to a fully functioning IHD? (I'm going to assume that both the IHD and the app show the correct tariff information 😄)
What additional information does the app give to those (like myself) who do their own spreadsheets with meter readings taken directly from the meter(s) (or via the IHD if smart) at regular intervals?

I hardly use the app but it seems you can do what you do in your online account… view statements, submit readings etc. Additionally, you can view usage (daily only) in kWh and cost but it is normally two or three days out of date.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Just to confirm that the app doesn't remember the fingerprint login.
Having selected this option the previous time I logged in, it should just ask for the fingerprint the next time you login, not give you the email/password dialog boxes.
Also it often gives you an "ApolloToo many requests" message, so you have to then close & re-open the app for it to log you in ☹️
It's also a bit weird how the email/pwd dialogue boxes are a funny yellow colour when Google autofill populates them. Doesn't happen in any other apps...

@Mailman I love this post! It's a fab question! It might get a bit lost on this thread though and would be great to see what others think... Perhaps it would be good to pop up a new post and see how others use the App if you have a bit of time and are still curious 😊
