@Birdman @Anasa_EONNext I signed up on the 9th of Sept for the next pledge and I also had this the rates was completely different and monthly charge to what it gad said online, I got in touch with them and asked what it would be from 1st Oct and they did tell me the new rates from then, but then I saw something about that they won't be dropping the prices if you are on that tariff until January????? I've got in touch again just waiting for a response and also my account still says I'm paying a variable amount each month but I was quoted a certain price???? It's all very confusing and I'm now thinking have a done the right thing????

Anasa here 👋 I'm so sorry for any confusion that this has caused you. I've done some digging 👩🌾 and the online quote you received represented the new pledge price that has been updated with the October cap change and the letter you received confirmed the price you would pay for a few days before the price cap change in October. There are a few weeks before the new cap price where anyone choosing flex will get the current and new prices in line with the price cap change and it important you see both prices.
This tariff will allow you to benefit from falling prices whilst also being protected by the price cap if they were to rise. You'll be able to see all of this in your terms and conditions so please don't worry.
It sounds like you have a Variable Direct Debit set up? If you wanted to pay a monthly fixed monthly prices subject to change depending on your usage this would need to be a Direct Debit. 😊

@Bmf2012 Thanks for getting in touch! I'm sorry you've got the incorrect letters! We're working hard to get this resolved and get the correct information sent out.
Please try not to worry as the quotes you were given online are the ones that you'll be on and this does not affect the Terms and Conditions in anyway.
You can reach out on here any time if you need to 😊
@Anasa_EONNext I've sorted it now I've set up a fixed direct debit now that starts on November 3rd so hopefully my October bill will just be for what I use, going to wait till my Oct bill comes through and see what it says before I put any money onto my account, I know alot of customers had emails about what the tariff change is from 1st Oct but I hadn't had that but someone via whatsapp yesterday has quoted me what they will be from that date.

Thanks for the update @Deviljane666 I'm pleased you were able to get it all sorted! 😊
We're always here for any clarification and I've a feeling that you won't be the last so it's great that someone can refer back to this post and you can pop back any time if you need anything - have a fab day!
I'm sorry to hear the same thing happened to you too.😞 I think they'll be a few more people that pop on here that it's affected too.
It's not great that this has happened but we can provide you with the correct contract figures and we'll shortly be sending out the correct letters for your peace of mind. You'll still be able to see the correct figures online and your T & Cs will remain the same.
@Anasa_EONNext
Hi, has there been any progress with getting the correct figures to the customers affected by incorrect tariff figures on the new Next Pledge tariff?
thank you.
@Anasa_EONNext
Hi, I had the same issue, but my tariff started 21st September, surely the new tariff costs should start on that date? How can a new tariff start without using the correct figures quoted? I’m so confused!
@JC43 Morning 😊 There is no update as of yet! But I'm keeping a close eye on this and will get back to you all as soon as I can! Please try not to worry too much! We're working hard in the back ground to get this fixed and it does not affect what you where quoted in any way - Thank you for your patience 😊
