Yes, I too had been doing that until @Mailman put me right and told me to knock the 16th off and replace it with the 14th. I didn’t know about the 16th as it was a trial event using just a small amount of participants.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
NGESO are deliberately running some of the DFS events with same day (am) notification and same day (pm) notification in addition to the more usual day before notification.

Just got the results in for the 5 Dec. Now the calcs are sorted (thx all) I'm within about 10p of actual which is close enough. That is except for the 1 Dec which seemed to be a higher rate.

As you may have seen in the link below I got what I predicted for 5 Dec although I see from another prediction in another post that I was 1p out 🤯
Last year was last year. If you wanted to participate this year you would have needed to reregister, I believe.
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
Another short notice one today, and by my reckoning I used only 0.13kwh, so expecting another £1.50ish. I did learn that it is a good idea to check your UPSes regularly, as one of mine failed five minutes in.
I took part but not one of my best efforts. Only normally use about 0.6kWh during 5-6pm but managed to reduce by around 0.3 so might get something approaching £1. Bright app not up-to-date yet so can’t tell for sure.
