@retrotecchie; @WizzyWigg,
'Crocodile Dundee school of cookery' and 'snapped up quickly', very good! ππ₯ͺπ€£π€£π€£.
I like a cheese and pickle sarnie, but my favourite sandwich will always be a good bacon one. π₯π₯ͺπ -
Are you going to share the recipe? πI'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -
Sorry but it wouldn't work in your slow cooker. π -
@WizzyWigg
Home cured 1/4" thick rashers from Jones The Meat in Lampeter, eggs from my own chickens and thick-cut doorstep fried slice. That is the breakfast of champions. Sadly only something I indulge in on special occasions these days.
But it can all be done in the air oven in ten minutes ππ₯πDon't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -

Most left over dishes taste better when re-heated the next day. Probably won't work too well with salad. Just bung it on the plate and call it something interesting like WYSIWYG salad ππ -
@retrotecchie
I agree with @WizzyWigg, that sounds wonderful. A fried slice, or 'fried bread' as we say up here in the North-East is lovely, but a rare treat, only on special occasions nowadays for me too.ππ³π
