I've never come across a self-exciting WRIM. But there's a first time for everything, I guess 🤔
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Let's not go there. At the start of my career I actually worked on equipment that had a mercury arc rectifier which we used to call The Mekon. I remember it had an exciter anode. We skipped through it in our training as we were told not to worry about it as we'll never see one. We used to dread switching it off in case it wouldn't start again. I gentle kick used to get it going 🤞😂
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
Those puppies were fun but you didn't want to be too close to one. They produced a hell of a lot of rather nasty UV radiation. I started with solid state selenium rectifiers. If they burned out, the stink was something terrible.
@DebF_EONNext thing I don't understand bout usage thing is that its always several days behind. I use Hugo app usage thing and it updates daily and often can see morning usage in the same evening. So why is my own energy company's data so far behind?
