Ok, now there is plenty of info to work on. All we need to do now is to give the unknown tech some time to pick up on the tags and hopefully give some advice 👍
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
The battery on the AIHD finally died and upon plugging it back into the mains it started up and connected to the meters fine, so all is working again now.
The lights on the comms unit in the meter cupboard are still the same so not sure if that is indicitive of anything, but for all intents and purposes, everything is working as I would like right now.
Many thanks to those that commented and helped. If nothing else I have now learnt how to use the forums in case of future probelms and the existence of this thread might provide information for other Accessible IHD users who suffer the same problem.
As a side note, it would be handy if the AIHD did actually have a way to recycle power without having to wait for the battery to die, either through a physical switch, or a menu item.
If it becomes an issue again, @ me and please provide the Status Codes from the System Status menu. I can get Blastoise to look them up on his secret lookup table which gives me the info to advise on what to do next.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...
