Oh boy @JoeSoap what a total car crash. I suppose it's to be expected because the infrastructure isn't fully established. The recent NAO report makes interesting reading 📚. What does surprise me is the fact your system is more up to date than mine. After what you have said I will seriously give thought to my course of action. I don't want to give up the will to live.👴 Life is way too short. Thanks for your update. 😵😆

@WizzyWigg
I agree that life's too short and the wrong rates on the IHD is something I can live with. Trouble is, I've got the bit between my teeth now and not convinced the advice that I've been given to wait for DCC is sound. I have said I'll raise a complaint tomorrow if the correct update isn't there and I intend to do that to see if I can find out what the reason for this delay actually is.I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -
@JoeSoap
Strangely enough I can sort of understand that reply about the DCC. Online account, which is the most important, is different to the IHD, which is different to Bright (supposedly from the DCC). In theory they should all be the same instantly, but obviously they aren't synchronizing. There's a time lag somewhere for some reason.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and look forward to your update. 👴 -
Oh this just gets worse. I just had two identical emails from Eon Next saying Welcome to my new Next Loyalty Fixed v4 tariff... I had already received this last week. Funny thing is, my credit balance has dropped by £150 and my monthly DD has risen by about £50. I checked my online account and I have been charged two £75 exit fees. Twenty minutes later I get another email from customer service saying my meter has been refreshed again.
This is doing my head in 🤯 -
@JoeSoap
My god Joe what's going on????? It's not a car crash it's a nightmare!!
I think I stay with wrong IHD tariffs. -
@WizzyWigg
I have to suspect, although I can't be sure, that the advisor I'm communicating with by email has done something in my account. Either that or it's a huge coincidence. The thing is, my new welcome email still has my tariff start date as 23 June. To incur an exit fee I would have to have left Eon Next and clearly I'm still here. -
@JoeSoap
Stay sane 🙃. If you can. I think I'll stay sitting on my hands for a bit longer (much longer actually). As @theunknowntech says it should be as simple as sending a SMETS command. Doesn't seem that simple. Peter come back from your holiday, please. 👽 -
@WizzyWigg
Oh go on… chase your tariff update and get in the same boat as me. We can bale out together 😂 -
Hey man I can't swim 🏊. 😂😂😂
I'll sleep on it. Perhaps not, I'll have nightmares. 👽👽👽👽😵
See what the morrow brings.🤔 -
@WizzyWigg
I’d like to say I’ll sleep on it too but my head’s spinning with it. If I get my hundred and fifty quid back and my DD reduced to where it was I’ll probably join you in sitting on my hands 🤪😂
