A little bit more progress this morning. Bright app has updated to my correct tariff details. I can’t find the update you referred to that allows me to change them but it did it on its own anyway 👍
Just the two month gap to be filled with data now and for Eon Next to pull monthly smart reads without being prompted by me and that will be everything hunky dory 😁
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

Brilliant news. It looks like this new update is only available on Android and according to @geoffers doesn't seem to work.
🤞My meters are communicating at the moment 🤞.

The Bright app picks up the tariff rates from your meter (via the DCC), but unfortunately the rates on my meter are wrong, so this update gives the opportunity of manually entering the correct rates into the app for Bright to calculate your costs.
Unfortunately it seems to be having teething troubles at the moment, so I've got a ticket out with them - very prompt response, so will keep this thread updated when I get some news 👍

I've just had another go entering my ToU rates into Bright and it seems to have worked this time, so I will have to wait until tomorrow's usage update to see the results of the cost calculations.
Unfortunately you have to set an effective date for the tariff, so it doesn't appear to give you the option to back-date the start of the tariff period (my meter rates have been wrong for the past two months), but at least it's a step in the right direction
@geoffers Actually the data Bright data was updated at 2 am this morning, and my entered ToU rates are effective from midnight...
So "bingo" - Bright is now showing the correct cost analysis for my energy usage. I now just need to see if I can back-date the effective tariff start-date to July for a full cost analyst

Excellent!!! When your meters started communicating, did the missing data gaps in Bright populate? 🤞
