Well, I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up but this is encouraging. Apart from the two months of missing data, which I thought would show up now, my elect usage is bang up to date in the Bright app and gas just lagging by a couple of hours.
Unfortunately, no reply yet to my update request email so I’ll have to wait patiently to see if that works. Also, my normal smart reading date is 6th of month and I have an engineer coming on 28th September.
Now I have a decision. Do I content myself with just having data and cancel the appointment? Do I hang on and see if I get a tariff update first and then decide? Probably the second choice. Either way, I may then have to wait six weeks to see if smart readings get taken. No big problem if they don’t.
Anyway, at least something has happened. I still don’t think the problem is at my end 🤔
